Maternity and Family Pictures

Well...my dute date was yesterday and now that I am officially overdue (which was one of my biggest fears, because now I'm using up my maternity leave with no baby), not to mention being nervous, anxious, antsy, etc...I realized that I hadn't updated my blog in awhile.  I'm very fortunate because my sister is doing photography now, and she gave me a maternity session.  What a great gift!  She photographs families., newborns, children, maternity, sports teams, etc.  Her website is AZandersonphotography.com--check it out!

Here are some of my favorites:
Hannah is really good at her expressions!
 Love that smile!
Hmmm..is daddy wrapped around her finger?

There might be a modeling career in the future!  She really loved posing!

She is always kissing my belly.  As much as I can't wait for this little guy to arrive, I really cherish the moments when she's touching and kissing my belly!

Well, since I'm so horrible at keeping up with this blog, one thing is guaranteed--the next time I blog, we will have a new addition to the family!

May Cooldown

At the end of May, we had quite a cooldown.  You could say it was "unseasonably cool".  In fact, it felt like we were in San Diego.  It was around 80 degrees for the high, and the air was fresh and breezy.  So, we took advantage of that and spent the morning at the park.  This girl would spend all day at the park if she could!
Not even afraid of the twirly slide anymore!
She is funny with a posed smile.  Sometimes it turns out really good, and other times she just looks plain goofy.  This one was pretty cute.
Originally we had gone to feed the ducks, but oddly, there were only about 3 ducks in the "lake", and they wanted nothing to do with our stale bread.  Luckily the fish in the pond were very interested in our bread.  Hannah got a kick out of feeding them!

She also made a new friend just in time to borrow her sand toys (since Mommy didn't bring any...I can't be expected to remember EVERYTHING!!!)
Later in the weekend we were over at my sister's house and discovered that Hannah and Zoey have matching Dora nightgowns.  Who knew!  They were smiling, but of course by the time the picture finished its delay, this was the best pic we could get:
And now we are just trying to keep busy through the summer heat!  Not enjoying the great outdoors this time of year :(

3 Month Catch Up

Well...In the 3 months that I haven't been on my blog, Blogger has made some updates.  You used to have to upload your pictures in reverse order for them to show up in the order you wanted.  However this is no longer true.  Well, I wasn't aware of this, so I uploaded them in reverse order.  This is too much work to redo, so they are still in reverse order.  I'll start with May and go back to April and then March!

May:

Mother's Day 2012.  I'm 26.5 weeks along here!

Hannah's preschool graduation (moving from the 3 yr old group to the 4 yr old group).  Here she is with Lucas.

So proud!

April:
I'm 22 weeks here.  Hannah is very excited about her baby brother and asks daily when he's "coming out".  She thinks we are naming him Georgie...we are NOT naming him Georgie!

Not supposed to be doing that...look at that sassy face!

Easter Egg hunt at Ms. Kris' house.

Easter Sunday.  I'm about 22 weeks here.  I feel huge!

Hannah and Zoey checking out their loot!

I love this one...check out Zoey (far left) sneaking an egg out of Hannah's basket!  This cracks me up!

March:

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Celebrating "Beemaw's" birthday.  They were told they better give a nice smile if they have any hopes for cake!

GUESS WHAT???

We are so excited to announce that Hannah is going to be a big sister! We actually found out the news before Christmas, but we decided to tell our families as part of their Christmas present. So, we found a "Big Sister" shirt for Hannah, took a picture of her in it, and wrapped it up. What a big surprise! It was so exciting! Needless to say, our parents are very excited as well! Our due date is August 15th (right when school starts...convenient, right?) Hannah is up in the air as to whether she wants a brother or sister. Sometimes she says sister, sometimes brother. We have decided to go ahead and find out the gender this time, so we should know in about 5 weeks or so!Other recent happenings...

Hannah really loves her Tangled doll and matching dress (given to her by her Auntie Rene)
A few weeks ago, Jim's niece Katie was in town. She has two boys about Hannah's age. We took them to the Freestone Railroad Park. Hannah immediately gravitated to the Ferris Wheel, which completely shocked me, because she isn't crazy about heights. I thought for sure she would either want me to go on with her (which wasn't an option), or she wouldn't go on at all. But no, I was surprisingly wrong! She hopped right on and was happy to share her seat with Jaxson and Wyatt!
The "JetSkis" were fun too!
Hannah loved the carousel, and having daddy right there made it even better!
Feeding the ducks is "super fun"!!!!!
Time for the train ride!
Here's our little love bug on Valentine's Day. She is still obsessed with her Valentines and hasn't even finished all her candy yet!
