Little Chunker

Our little chunker is now 4 months old! Wow how time flies! She sleeps for 8-10 hours at night and takes two really good naps during the day! I have gone back to work now. I really miss being with her during the day, but it makes me cherish each moment with her even more! Hannah loves to "talk" us, put things in her mouth, and suck her thumb. I guess that means she is a baby genius!

Merry Christmas!

Hannah's first Christmas was so much fun. She got tons, tons, tons of presents from grandma and grandpa...did I mention there were LOTS? ha ha. She got clothes (the best dressed baby girl in town), toys decorations for her room...I could go on and on. We had a nice time having my parents and sister's family over for dinner. It was truly just so special to have Hannah here, this now tops the list of my favorite Christmases!

The Napping House

There is a children's book by Audrey Wood called "The Napping House". In the story, all the characters are, of course, napping. The granny, the child, the dog, the cat, and the mouse are all snoring away until a pesky flea makes the mouse sneeze, who then wakes the cat...you get the idea. Well this weekend, the Lavin house was a "Napping House!" Enjoy!!!

This picture is sideways, but I didn't know how to rotate it. I'd like to give Jim a hard time for this one, but he's been working such long hours lately between teaching and coaching, that I guess he did deserve a little nap!

Cosmo truly thinks the tree is her new "toy". It is hers to bat at, steal ornaments from, and of course, to rest under...

This just sums it all up right here...is there anything more peaceful than a sleeping baby?

My husband, the baby, the cat, and the dog were all napping at the same time! Not kidding. I looked around the house and realized not only what a great picture opportunity I had, but that I was the only one who WASN'T snoozing!

Family Pictures

As the holiday season approaches, we of course have to take the traditional family picture for our Christmas card! We haven't done this before (in the past when we didn't have Hannah, we felt a little silly sending out a Christmas card with a picture of ourselves!) Although, I would have if Jim had let me :) We had a few picture mishaps during the process--notice the "hat malfunction!" Hannah is wearing her beautiful Christmas dress, given to her by my Uncle Rick and Aunt Cheryl who live in Tucson. She will be wearing it to church for Christmas. We are really looking forward to her first Christmas! Happy Holidays to everyone!
