As the holiday season approaches, we of course have to take the traditional family picture for our Christmas card! We haven't done this before (in the past when we didn't have Hannah, we felt a little silly sending out a Christmas card with a picture of ourselves!) Although, I would have if Jim had let me :) We had a few picture mishaps during the process--notice the "hat malfunction!" Hannah is wearing her beautiful Christmas dress, given to her by my Uncle Rick and Aunt Cheryl who live in Tucson. She will be wearing it to church for Christmas. We are really looking forward to her first Christmas! Happy Holidays to everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving!
We enjoyed Hannah's first Thanksgiving at our house with my parents, my sister Jasmyn and her two boys, Kaden and Gavin (husband Joel was working--thanks to all our firefighters, police officers, etc. who work on holidays!) and Jim's brother Dick. Hannah was actually a little fussy on Thanksgiving--I think she was upset that she didn't get to partake in the turkey and apple cobbler! For sure she will next year!
It is amazing how quickly she continues to grow. She smiles so much and holds her head up really well. She has been sleeping from about 9 at night until about 4 in the morning--sometimes she goes to 5 or 6 but that isn't consistent yet. We love all the gurgling sounds she makes. She "talks" to us all the time! She is already 11 weeks old. AAAAHHHHHHHH
We hope all our family and friends enjoyed their Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for all of you!

8 Weeks Old!!!
I know, I know, it's been a while since I last updated my blog! What can I say...
Hannah is growing so fast! Jim and I are in awe of her each and every day. She smiles all the time and is starting to sleep for longer periods of time, which has been very nice. She is very strong too. She tries to stand up and can hold her head up to. We're sure she's the most advanced baby in the world! ha ha
Last weekend Hannah and I went up to Christopher Creek (north of Payson, AZ) along with my mom, sister Jasmyn ,and her two sons Kaden and Gavin. Kaden is 3 and loves to hold Hannah. He even changes his voice a little when he says, "hi baby Hannah!" If she gets fussy he says, "it's OK baby Hannah". You gotta love that. Gavin is 1 and is starting to say words. He points at Hannah and says, "baby" (OK it's more like, "bay", but close enough!) Hannah really loves her cousins!
Jim has been busy with coaching the JV Girls Basketball Team at Mesquite High (go Wildcats!) I've been enjoying my time home with Hannah. It will be hard to return to teaching in January, but I am so grateful to have had this time with her. I'm one lucky girl to have such a loving husband and a healthy, strong baby!
